Electrical Requirements for Wellness One Saunas
All electrical work inside the sauna unit is completed by Wellness One during manufacture. You are only responsible for providing the supply to the back of the building.

What Your Electrician Needs to Do
Your electrician needs to run a dedicated circuit from your consumer unit to the sauna installation point. The circuit must:
- Be a dedicated circuit (not shared with other appliances)
- Include appropriate overcurrent protection (MCB)
- Include RCD protection for outdoor circuits
- Be rated for the supply amperage required by your model
- Terminate in a suitable isolator at the back of the sauna
An Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) must be issued for the supply circuit.
What Wellness One Handles
All internal wiring — heater connection, lighting, controls, and any additional features — is completed by Wellness One during manufacture and installation. You do not need to arrange any internal electrical work.

Lifestyle 2–3 and Connect 3 require a 30-amp single-phase isolated supply. Lifestyle 4 and Connect 4 require a 40-amp single-phase supply. All internal wiring is completed by Wellness One — you only need to provide the supply to the back of the building.
Do I need a qualified electrician for my sauna?
Yes. The supply run from your consumer unit to the sauna must be completed by a qualified electrician, ideally NICEIC-registered. An Electrical Installation Certificate must be issued for the supply circuit.
