Connect outdoor sauna suite

The Wellness One Connect is a complete outdoor wellness suite combining sauna, shower, and changing room in a single building. Built with 200mm walls and 100mm insulation, finished in thermo wood on the exterior and thermo aspen on the interior, models seat 3 to 10 people from £23,370 + VAT (£28,044 inc VAT), with UK mainland delivery, installation, and a 5-year structural guarantee. Every Connect can be designed bespoke — Wellness One works with each client to tailor the layout, specification, and footprint to their exact needs and space.

The Whole Ritual, Under One Roof

Picture this. It's a Thursday evening in November. Dark outside, cold enough to see your breath. You step out of the back door in a robe and walk fifteen paces to the Connect at the end of the garden.

You open the door into the changing room. It's dry, warm enough, lit softly. You hang your robe on the hook, slip off your shoes. Ahead of you: the shower. You step under the water — a brief, bracing rinse to wake the skin before the heat. Then the inner door, and the sauna itself.

You never went outside in a towel. You never stood on wet paving in bare feet. You never lost the thread of the experience between one stage and the next.

That's the Connect. It's not just a sauna with a porch. It's a building designed around the entire wellness ritual — changing, showering, heating, cooling, showering again, dressing — in a continuous, unbroken sequence.

The Range

Connect 3 — from £23,370 + VAT (£28,044 inc VAT). Seats three. The most compact suite, but don't mistake compact for compromised. This is a fully realised changing room, shower area, and sauna in a footprint that fits comfortably in most gardens. The kind of building that makes visitors stop and ask questions.

Connect 4 — £27,170 + VAT (£32,604 inc VAT). Seats four. More generous internal proportions. The changing room gains enough space to feel like a room rather than a corridor. The sauna benches accommodate four adults without anyone negotiating for elbow room.

Connect 6 — £34,127 + VAT (£40,952.40 inc VAT). Seats six. This is the model that changes the way you entertain. Saturday evening with two other couples. Everyone has space. The shower room handles the traffic between rounds. The changing room has hooks and bench seating for six.

Connect 10 — £45,410 + VAT (£54,492 inc VAT). Seats ten. Built for serious use — large families, holiday lets, boutique hospitality, private estates. A genuine wellness building that could sit comfortably in a high-end spa resort. Multiple bench levels in the sauna. A shower room that works for groups. A changing area that doesn't feel like an afterthought.

Every price includes UK mainland delivery and professional installation. Every model carries a five-year structural guarantee.

Bespoke Design

The Connect range isn't limited to the standard configurations listed above. Wellness One designs bespoke Connect suites specifically around the client's needs and space — whether that means adjusting the footprint for an unusual garden, reconfiguring the internal layout, or specifying particular materials and finishes. If the standard models don't quite fit your vision, we'll design one that does.

For clients with larger ambitions, Wellness One also undertakes complete wellness suite projects — multi-room installations that go beyond sauna, shower, and changing room to create comprehensive private wellness spaces tailored entirely to you.

The Construction

The Connect shares its DNA with the Lifestyle range. 200mm wall thickness. 100mm insulation. Thermo wood on the exterior, thermo-treated for moisture resistance and dimensional stability. And inside, thermo aspen — the sauna world's gold standard. Pale, luminous, warm to the touch, with a grain so fine it feels almost soft beneath your fingers. That unmistakable warm scent.

The difference is in the architecture. Three distinct zones — changing room, shower, sauna — each designed for its specific purpose, each transitioning naturally into the next. The shower area is fully waterproofed. The changing room stays dry. The sauna retains its heat without bleed-through to adjacent spaces.

It's the kind of engineering that you don't notice when it's done well. The changing room is dry because it was designed to be dry. The sauna holds its heat because the thermal envelope was designed to contain it. None of this is accidental.

Why It Matters

The difference between a standalone sauna and a Connect suite is the difference between a beautiful meal and a beautiful meal in a beautiful restaurant. Context changes experience.

When you have a changing room, you approach the sauna differently. You're not rushing from the house clutching a towel. You're not leaving a trail of wet footprints across the kitchen floor on your return. The ritual has a beginning, a middle, and an end, and all of it happens in a space designed for exactly that purpose.

The shower between sauna rounds isn't optional — it's integral. Rinsing off between sessions, cooling the skin, preparing the body for the next round of heat. In a standalone sauna, that means a garden hose or a dash back to the house. In a Connect, it means stepping through a door.

For couples, the Connect 3 creates an intimate private sauna suite. For families, the Connect 6 turns wellness into something shared — teenagers who'd never voluntarily sit with their parents somehow find that a sauna session is the exception. For anyone running a holiday let or hospitality business, the Connect 10 is a genuine revenue-generating asset that guests will book specifically to experience.

The Honest Truth About Outdoor Wellness Buildings

Most of what's sold as an "outdoor sauna" in the UK is a timber cabin with a heater. Some of them are perfectly pleasant in July. By January, they're fighting the cold, the heater is running constantly, and the experience is... fine. Adequate. Nothing you'd write home about.

The Connect is built for the British climate. Twelve months of the year. The insulation doesn't care whether it's August or February. The heat stays where it's supposed to. The changing room doesn't develop condensation issues. The shower drainage works. These sound like basic requirements, and they are — but you'd be surprised how many products on the market treat them as afterthoughts.
