The Wellness One Lifestyle is a dedicated luxury outdoor sauna built with 200mm wall thickness and 100mm insulation, finished in thermo wood on the exterior and thermo aspen on the interior — widely considered the finest sauna wood available. Five models seat from 2 to 10 people, priced from £17,100 + VAT (£20,520 inc VAT) to £40,600, with UK mainland delivery, installation, and a 5-year structural guarantee included.
The First Time
Here's what happens the first time you use a Lifestyle sauna.
You open the door and the scent hits you before the heat does. Thermo-treated wood — warm, caramelised, faintly resinous. Not the sharp pine smell of a DIY store. Something deeper. Something that tells your brain, before your skin even registers the temperature, that this is a different kind of space.
Then the heat. Not the dry slap of a badly insulated cabin. This is enveloping. It rises from the benches, radiates from the walls, wraps around your shoulders like a weighted blanket made of warmth. Within two minutes, your breathing slows. Within five, the tension you've been carrying in your jaw, your neck, the space between your shoulder blades — it starts to dissolve. Not dramatically. Quietly. Like ice melting.
That's what 200mm walls and 100mm of insulation actually feel like. Not a specification on a data sheet. A physical experience.
The Range
Lifestyle 2 — £17,100 + VAT (£20,520 inc VAT). Seats two. The most intimate model, designed for couples or the individual who wants their sauna to feel like a personal retreat. Compact enough for a modest garden, substantial enough to deliver serious heat.
Lifestyle 3 — £19,600 + VAT (£23,520 inc VAT). Seats three. The additional space changes the dynamic — room to stretch out, to lie flat on the upper bench if the mood takes you. For the person who wants a little more room without a larger footprint.
Lifestyle 4 — £23,400 + VAT (£28,080 inc VAT). Seats 4–6 people (not four only). This is where the Lifestyle starts to feel like a room rather than a pod. Space for friends, for family, for the kind of unhurried conversation that only happens when everyone's relaxed and slightly too warm to argue.
Lifestyle 6 — £28,620 + VAT (£34,344 inc VAT). Seats six to eight. Built for entertaining. Weekend dinner parties that end in the sauna. Extended families. The kind of home where the garden is as much a social space as the kitchen.
Lifestyle 10 — £40,600 + VAT (£48,720 inc VAT). Seats eight to ten. This is a commercial-grade sauna in a domestic setting. Holiday lets, boutique hotels, private estates, or simply the person who never wants to feel cramped. Multiple bench levels. Serious capacity. The centrepiece of a garden.
Every price includes UK mainland delivery and full professional installation. Every model carries a five-year structural guarantee.
The Construction
Let's talk about what you're actually buying.
The walls are 200mm thick. Inside that wall sits 100mm of insulation — a continuous thermal barrier that keeps heat where it belongs: inside the sauna, radiating into you rather than leaking into the evening air.
The exterior is clad in thermo wood — timber that's been heat-treated above 200°C in a controlled, oxygen-free kiln. This fundamentally changes its properties. Moisture absorption drops by up to 50%. The wood becomes dimensionally stable — it won't swell, warp, or cup through years of heating and cooling cycles. Biological resistance increases dramatically; rot, mould, and fungal decay lose their foothold.
And it's beautiful. The thermo wood exterior turns a rich, warm brown with a grain that catches the light, developing a patina over time that deepens rather than degrades.
Inside, the sauna is lined with thermo aspen — widely regarded as the finest sauna wood in the world. The grain is fine and even, the colour a warm, honey-brown tone that catches the light beautifully. Under your hand it feels warm even before the heater fires. It doesn't splinter. It doesn't overheat to the touch. And the scent — subtle, clean, faintly honeyed — deepens with every session. This is wood you don't just see. You feel it.
What It Feels Like to Own One
Here's what nobody tells you about having a sauna in your garden.
It changes Tuesday evenings.
The ritual matters. Preheating the sauna — twenty minutes, perhaps thirty depending on the ambient temperature. Walking across the garden in a robe, knowing what's waiting. Opening the door to that wall of fragrant heat. Sitting down.
Then the cool-down. Then back in. The second round is always deeper. The heat finds places the first round missed. Shoulders drop. Breathing deepens.
This isn't a luxury in the sense of something frivolous. It's a luxury in the sense of something profoundly useful that also happens to be beautiful.
